I now read all technical books/magazines/etc. on a tablet pc and it’s near as good as paper to me. And no more old-paper burden lying on the shelves after six months.

I’m totally for “printed” material. Web and print have complementary roles to play. I think adding a layer of editorial review to content is a valuable thing.

I ordered them all and keenly waiting for them to arrive. I will compare the printed version with the PDF and decide which I prefer.

I wish them luck, but I think they’re in the same category as the guys who make armor for the SCA. It’s great that they do it, but it’s not really part of the modern world. I can’t imagine caring about an actual physical magazine for software development.
